Galaxy S20 has a general score of 94.8, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Note9's 87.1 general score. Galaxy S20's construction is newer, thinner and lighter than the Galaxy Note9. Galaxy S20 has just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Note9, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy S20 also has a higher amount of RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 counts with a bit sharper display than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch of display and a slightly better resolution of 1440 x 3200. Galaxy S20 has a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same resolution back facing camera, the Galaxy S20 also counts with a lot better 7680x4320 video resolution and a way larger sensor which gives a lot better image and video quality.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 has a slightly better storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note9, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB. The Galaxy S20 features a battery duration that is very similar to the battery duration in Samsung Galaxy Note9.

Although Galaxy S20 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Note9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Note9. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy S20, else you can save some money and get the Galaxy Note9, letting go a couple features and specifications.
