Samsung Galaxy S21 is slightly better than Galaxy Note9, getting a 91.8 score against 87.1. The Samsung Galaxy S21 is a extremely newer cellphone, and it's also lighter and thinner than the Galaxy Note9. The Galaxy S21 features a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Note9, although it has a way worse 1080 x 2400 resolution, a just a little lower amount of pixels per display inch and a little smaller screen.

The Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with a much better memory capacity to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S21, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy S21 and Galaxy Note9 feature quite similar CPUs, and although the Samsung Galaxy S21 has a higher amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.

Samsung Galaxy S21 counts with just a bit better camera than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not favorable for low-light photos and video, and they both have a same resolution camera, the Samsung Galaxy S21 also counts with a way better video definition and a way larger back-facing camera sensor shooting way better quality videos and photographs.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 and Samsung Galaxy Note9 feature similar battery durations.

Although Galaxy S21 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Note9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Note9. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy S21, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Note9, letting go a couple specifications.
