Galaxy Note9 has a global score of 87.1, which is better than Galaxy S5 Plus's global score of 78.1. Even though the Galaxy Note9 is noticeably newer than Galaxy S5 Plus, it is just a little thicker and way heavier. Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus features a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Note9, although it has a just a little lower display pixels density, a lot smaller screen and a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px.

The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory and a greater number of cores. The Galaxy Note9 counts with a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB and 112 GB more internal memory.

Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a really longer battery life than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2800mAh. Galaxy Note9 counts with a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has a worse (4K) video resolution and a much worse resolution camera in the back, it also counts with a bigger sensor capturing better quality videos and pictures and a lot larger aperture to take better photos and videos in poorly lited environments.

The Samsung Galaxy Note9 is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S5 Plus, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
