Comparison review

Galaxy Note9 is slightly better than Galaxy S8, with a general score of 87.1 against 81.7. Galaxy Note9's body is newer than the Galaxy S8's, but it's incredibly heavier and somewhat thicker. The Galaxy S8 counts with a bit better screen than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a bit smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels, the Galaxy S8 also counts with a little better pixels amount in each inch in the screen.

The Galaxy Note9 has a much greater memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy S8, because it has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy Note9 features a bit better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Galaxy Note9 also has more RAM.

Galaxy Note9 features greater battery performance than Galaxy S8, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity. Galaxy Note9 features a little bit better camera than Galaxy S8, and although they both have a same resolution back facing camera, the same 3840x2160 video resolution and a same size camera sensor, the Galaxy Note9 also has a larger camera aperture to take better low light photography and higher 60 frames per second video frame rates.

Although Galaxy Note9 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S8. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Note9, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy S8, letting go a couple specs and features.
