Comparison review

Galaxy Note9 has an overall score of 87.1, which is much better than Xperia XA2 Plus's 78.6 score. The Galaxy Note9 is a just a little bit thinner and a bit lighter phone than the Xperia XA2 Plus, even when both of them were released only a couple of months apart. Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a bit sharper screen than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a better pixel amount per inch in the display, a higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and a bit larger display.

The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a bit faster processing unit than Xperia XA2 Plus. Both have the same RAM amount and 8 cpu cores. The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus shoots a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Note9, because although it has worse video frame rates and a lot tinier aperture which is not favorable for low-light photos and videos, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Sony Xperia XA2 Plus also counts with a back-facing camera with way more megapixels and a bigger camera sensor providing a higher image quality.

The Galaxy Note9 has a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Note9 counts with a bit longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a 12 percent bigger battery size.
