Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Note9 is much better than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, having a global score of 87.1 against 79. Although Samsung Galaxy Note9 and the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact were released with only a few months difference, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 body is heavier but also a lot thinner than the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Note9, although it has a much smaller display, a way worse 1080 x 2160 resolution and a bit worse count of pixels per inch in the display. The Galaxy Note9 counts with a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with just a bit better performance than Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact has a slightly better camera than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a much smaller aperture which is not nice for low light images and video, and they both have the same video quality and the same 60 frames per second video frame rate, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact also counts with a larger sensor taking better quality pictures and a lot higher resolution back-facing camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with a way better battery life than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has a 39 percent more battery size.
