Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a general score of 87.1, which is much better than the Xiaomi 12's 78.8 global score. Even being the best we are comparing, Samsung Galaxy Note9 is a older, a bit thicker and heavier cellphone than Xiaomi 12. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with a very superior processor than Xiaomi 12, although it has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
Xiaomi 12 has a slightly better screen than Galaxy Note9, although it has a lot worse resolution of 1080 x 2400, a bit lower pixels density and a bit smaller display. The Galaxy Note9 has a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Xiaomi 12, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Galaxy Note9 also has an external SD slot that allows up to 512 GB.
Xiaomi 12 takes much better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a much smaller diafragm aperture, it also counts with a much bigger camera sensor, a lot more mega-pixels camera in the back and a lot higher 7680x4320 video definition. Xiaomi 12 features a bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
