Comparison review
Galaxy Note9 is much better than the Xiaomi Mi Max, having a global score of 87.1 against 77.5. Galaxy Note9's construction is extremely newer and a little lighter than Xiaomi Mi Max's, although it's also thicker. The Galaxy Note9 features a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note9 also has more RAM.
Galaxy Note9 has a better looking display than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Galaxy Note9 also has a way higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and a greater pixel density. Galaxy Note9 shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a back camera with way less megapixels resolution and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, it also counts with a much larger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light photos.
Galaxy Note9 has slightly more storage capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Max, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Galaxy Note9 also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Mi Max counts with longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Note9, because it has a 21% bigger battery capacity.
