Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, with a score of 87.1 against 83.8. Although Samsung Galaxy Note9 and the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 were released with only a couple of months difference, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 construction is a bit thicker but also a little bit lighter than the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a little more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has a better pixel density and a better 1440 x 2960 resolution. Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 features a processor that's very similar to the Galaxy Note9 one, and although the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 has a greater amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 has just a bit better camera than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for shooting photographs or videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same sensor size, the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 also counts with a back camera with more mega pixels.
Galaxy Note9 features a little bit better storage capacity to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, because although it has just 128 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 features longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, because it has a 25 percent bigger battery capacity.
