Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a score of 87.1, which is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10's overall score of 78.3. Although it's the best cellphone in our current comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 body is notably older, heavier and a little bit thicker than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 has a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Note9, although it has a quite worse number of pixels per screen inch and a way lower resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, they both have a same size display.
Galaxy Note9 has a bit faster processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note9 also has 2 GB more RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 captures a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, because although it has a much tinier back-facing camera sensor capturing less light and duller colors and a back camera with a much worse 12 MP resolution, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture.
The Galaxy Note9 features a much bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 512 GB, the Galaxy Note9 also has 128 GB internal storage. Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 features greater battery life than Galaxy Note9, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Note9 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi Note 10. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Note9, else you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10, letting go a couple specifications.
