Galaxy Note9 has a global score of 87.1, which is better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro's score of 75.8. Galaxy Note9's design is a little thicker and heavier than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. The Galaxy Note9 has a little faster processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. They have a Octa-Core processing unit and the same RAM memory amount.
Galaxy Note9 features a little sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a better resolution of 1440 x 2960px, a little larger display and a higher pixel amount in each inch of display. Galaxy Note9 features a lot bigger memory for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has 128 GB internal memory and an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 and the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro feature quite similar batteries performance.
