The Samsung Galaxy Note9 has an overall score of 87.1, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's overall score of 81.1. Samsung Galaxy Note9 is a just a little lighter phone than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, but both are 0.35inches thick. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a little bit better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. Both have the same RAM amount and a Octa-Core processor.
The Galaxy Note9 features a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a greater screen pixels density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960px. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a superior camera than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a way smaller aperture which is not nice for capturing pictures in poorly lited environments and lower video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a way larger back-facing camera sensor capturing way higher quality videos and photos and a much better 64 mega-pixels resolution camera.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a much better storage for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have an external memory slot that supports up to 512 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has 64 GB more internal storage. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features better battery lifetime than Galaxy Note9, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note9 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note9, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, giving up some specs and features.
