Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Note9 has an overall score of 87.1, which is much better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's 79 global score. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 design has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, but it's just a bit lighter. Galaxy Note9 has a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2960px and a better quantity of pixels per inch in the display.
The Galaxy Note9 counts with a much bigger storage to install games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB, the Galaxy Note9 also has 64 GB more internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has a higher amount of RAM.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S takes much better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note9, because although it has worse video frame rate and a tinier aperture which is not favorable for capturing photographs and videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also counts with a camera in the back with a way higher resolution and a much larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features improved battery life than Galaxy Note9, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Note9 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Note9, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, resigning some features and specifications.
