Galaxy S10 5G has an overall score of 93.6, which is way better than the OnePlus 8's global score of 76. The Galaxy S10 5G body has the same thickness than the OnePlus 8, but it is a bit heavier. OnePlus 8 counts with a bit better looking display than Galaxy S10 5G, although it has a quite smaller screen, a quite lower pixels density and a much lower 1080 x 2400px resolution.
OnePlus 8's processing unit is very similar to Galaxy S10 5G's processing unit, both have 8 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. The OnePlus 8 captures much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S10 5G, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low light photography and video, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the OnePlus 8 also counts with a way more mega pixels camera and a way larger back-facing camera sensor which provides a lot better photo and video quality.
The Galaxy S10 5G costs a little more than OnePlus 8, but you can get a much better phone for that extra dollars.
