Samsung Galaxy S20 has a score of 94.8, which is a bit better than Galaxy A71 5G's 91.8 overall score. Both devices in this comparison review have Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy S20 has the newer 13 version while Galaxy A71 5G has Android 11 version. Although Samsung Galaxy S20 and Galaxy A71 5G were released with only a few months difference, Samsung Galaxy S20 is somewhat lighter and just a little thinner.
Galaxy S20 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A71 5G, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixels density and a better 1440 x 3200px resolution. The Samsung Galaxy S20 counts with just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A71 5G, and although they both have 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
Samsung Galaxy A71 5G features a better camera than Galaxy S20, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same back camera sensor size, the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G also has a camera in the back with much more megapixels and faster video frame rates.
The Galaxy S20 and the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G have similar memory capacity to store more apps and games, they have equal internal storage and a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB. The Galaxy A71 5G counts with just a little better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S20, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 4000mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy S20 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy A71 5G, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy A71 5G. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S20, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy A71 5G, resigning some specs and features.
