Comparison review
The Galaxy S20 is much better than Sony Xperia XZ1, getting a 94.8 score against 78.3. Galaxy S20's construction is notably newer than Sony Xperia XZ1's, but it is a little thicker and a little heavier. Samsung Galaxy S20 counts with a little sharper display than Xperia XZ1, because it has a lot higher 1440 x 3200 pixels resolution, a larger display and a greater display pixel density.
The Galaxy S20 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Xperia XZ1, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy S20 also has 8 GB more RAM memory. Galaxy S20 shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Xperia XZ1, because although it has a way lower 12 megapixels resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a way bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing way higher quality pictures and videos, a larger camera aperture to take better captures in poorly lited environments and a much better 7680x4320 video resolution.
Samsung Galaxy S20 counts with a little bit better memory for apps and games than Xperia XZ1, because although it has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1000 GB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Galaxy S20 features a much longer battery performance than Xperia XZ1, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
The Galaxy S20 is way more expensive than Sony Xperia XZ1, but you can get a much better phone for that extra dollars.
