Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S22 has an overall score of 93.4, which is much better than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro's score of 84.2. Both devices in this review use Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy S22 has the older 13 version while Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has Android 14 version. Even though Samsung Galaxy S22 is older than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, it's construction is somewhat thinner and much lighter.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 has a much powerful processor than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Galaxy S22 has a little more vivid screen than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, because although it has a little worse 1080 x 2340 resolution, way less brightness and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit better pixels number per inch in the screen.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features just a bit better camera than Galaxy S22, although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for low-light photos and videos, they both have the same video frame rate, a same size back camera sensor, the same 7680x4320 video quality and the same resolution back-facing camera.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a way bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S22, because it has more internal storage capacity. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy S22, because it has a 49% bigger battery capacity.
