Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is much better than Galaxy S4 Active, having an 81.7 score against 71.7. Both of these devices use Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a newer 5.0 version and Galaxy S4 Active has Android 4.4 version. Although Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is heavier than the Galaxy S4 Active, it's a little bit thinner and newer.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a little bit better display than Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, because it has a little bit bigger screen, a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a just a bit higher pixels density. The Galaxy Note Edge counts with much more storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy S4 Active, because it has an external SD slot that holds up to 128 GB and 16 GB more internal storage.

Galaxy Note Edge features a bit better processing power than Galaxy S4 Active, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Note Edge also has a better graphics processing unit and 1 GB more RAM memory. Galaxy Note Edge captures a lot better photographs and videos than Galaxy S4 Active, because it has a back-facing camera with way more mega pixels and a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.

Samsung Galaxy Note Edge counts with just a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy S4 Active, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.

Although Galaxy Note Edge is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy S4 Active, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S4 Active. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Note Edge, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy S4 Active, giving up a couple features and specifications.
