Comparison review

Galaxy S5 has a global score of 80.8, which is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ1's 78.3 general score. The Galaxy S5 is a notably older and a bit thicker device than Sony Xperia XZ1, but Samsung managed to make it a little bit lighter anyway. Galaxy S5 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Xperia XZ1, because although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster) and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a graphics processor.

Galaxy S5 has a more vivid screen than Xperia XZ1, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, the Galaxy S5 also counts with a better pixels number in each screen inch. The Xperia XZ1 counts with a much better memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB and more internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy S5 counts with a little longer battery life than Xperia XZ1, because it has a 2800mAh battery capacity against 2700mAh. Xperia XZ1 takes a bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Xperia XZ1 also has a back facing camera with a higher resolution, a bigger camera aperture and a larger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.

Even being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, the Galaxy S5 is also a lot cheaper.
