Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Edge has a general score of 81.8, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S4's overall score of 78.3. These phones work with the same Android 5.0 OS (Operating System). Galaxy S6 Edge's design is noticeably newer and just a bit thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S4's, although it is a little bit heavier.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a little more vivid display than Galaxy S4, because it has a greater pixels density, a little bigger screen and a higher 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. Galaxy S4 features a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge features a better performing processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S4, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also has an additional GPU, a higher amount of RAM memory and a 64-bits processor. Galaxy S4 counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy S6 Edge, although it has a worse resolution back camera, a tinier sensor capturing worse quality videos and photos, a much worse 1920x1080 video definition and a tinier aperture which is not nice for low-light images and video.
Samsung Galaxy S4 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge have extremely similar batteries.
The Galaxy S6 Edge is a little more expensive than the Galaxy S4, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
