Galaxy S9 is just a bit better than the Huawei P20, getting a overall score of 83.3 against 78.1. The Galaxy S9 design is a little bit lighter but just a bit thicker than the Huawei P20, and both of them were released with only a couple months difference. Samsung Galaxy S9 has a little better performance than Huawei P20. Both have the same RAM memory amount and 8 CPU cores.
Galaxy S9 has just a bit better screen than Huawei P20, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Galaxy S9 also has a higher pixel density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960px. The Galaxy S9 has a bigger storage for apps and games than Huawei P20, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 400 GB.
The Galaxy S9 features a bit better camera than Huawei P20, because although it has a tinier back-facing camera sensor, and they both have a same resolution camera and the same video resolution, the Galaxy S9 also counts with a bigger aperture to capture better photography and videos in low-light environments and higher 60 frames per second video frame rates.
