Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S9 has a global score of 83.3, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy A12's 80.3 general score. The Samsung Galaxy S9 is an much older phone than Samsung Galaxy A12, but Samsung was able to make it notably lighter and just a bit thinner. Samsung Galaxy S9 counts with a much sharper display than Galaxy A12, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way greater number of pixels per display inch and a way higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels.
Galaxy S9 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A12. They have 8 CPU cores and a 4 GB RAM. The Galaxy A12 features more memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S9, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A12 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1 TB.
Galaxy A12 features a very superior battery duration than Galaxy S9, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 3000mAh. The Samsung Galaxy A12 has a camera that is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy S9 one, because although the Samsung Galaxy A12 has a way tinier camera aperture which is not so good for low-light photos and videos and lower video frame rates, and they both have the same video resolution, it also counts with a way better resolution back-facing camera.
