The Samsung Galaxy S9 is an much older phone than Samsung Galaxy A12, but Samsung was able to make it notably lighter and just a bit thinner. Samsung Galaxy S9 counts with a much sharper display than Galaxy A12, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way greater number of pixels per display inch and a way higher resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels.
Galaxy S9 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A12. They have 8 CPU cores and a 4 GB RAM. The Galaxy A12 features more memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S9, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy A12 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1 TB.
