Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 III is slightly better than the iPhone 8, getting a 93.3 score against 85. The Sony Xperia 1 III design is a lot newer, but a little bit thicker and a lot heavier than the iPhone 8. The iPhone 8 features a little faster CPU than Xperia 1 III, because although it has an inferior number of cores and 10 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with a 64 bits processor.
Xperia 1 III counts with a better looking screen than iPhone 8, because it has a much better pixel count per screen inch, a much bigger screen and a lot better resolution of 1644 x 3840px. Xperia 1 III counts with a way bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than iPhone 8, and although they both have equal 256 GB internal storage, the Xperia 1 III also has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB.
Xperia 1 III features a much longer battery life than iPhone 8, because it has a 147% larger battery capacity. The Xperia 1 III features a little bit better camera than iPhone 8, and although they both have the same video resolution and a camera with a 12 MP resolution, the Xperia 1 III also has a bigger camera aperture to capture better low light photos and video, a lot bigger back camera sensor which gives a much higher image and video quality and faster video frame rate.
The Xperia 1 III is a lot more expensive than Apple iPhone 8, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
