Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 5 III is just a bit better than Asus ROG Phone II, with a 90.5 score against 88. Sony Xperia 5 III is a newer phone, and it is also somewhat thinner and lighter than the Asus ROG Phone II. Asus ROG Phone II counts with a little more vivid screen than Xperia 5 III, because although it has a little bit worse pixels number in each display inch and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340, it also counts with a bit bigger display.
Sony Xperia 5 III has slightly more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus ROG Phone II, because although it has only 256 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 1 TB. Asus ROG Phone II features just a bit better processing power than Xperia 5 III, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Asus ROG Phone II also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Asus ROG Phone II takes much better photos and videos than Xperia 5 III, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for low-light images and videos, a tinier sensor shooting lower quality videos and photographs and lower video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Asus ROG Phone II also counts with a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels.
