Comparison review

Xperia 5 III is much better than Motorola Moto Z4, having a global score of 90.5 against 79.8. Both devices in this comparison review have Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia 5 III has the newer 11 version and Motorola Moto Z4 has Android 10 version, offering lots of additional features. Even though Xperia 5 III is newer than Motorola Moto Z4, it's a little heavier and just a little thicker.

The Xperia 5 III has a bit sharper display than Moto Z4, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch in the display and a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2520. The Xperia 5 III counts with a bit better hardware performance than Motorola Moto Z4, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia 5 III also has a larger amount of RAM.

The Sony Xperia 5 III has a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Motorola Moto Z4, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 1 TB and 256 GB internal storage. The Sony Xperia 5 III has superior battery lifetime than Moto Z4, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 3600mAh.

The Motorola Moto Z4 shoots slightly better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia 5 III, because although it has slower 30 fps video frame rates and a tinier camera sensor which offers a worse image and video quality, and they both have a same size aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Moto Z4 also counts with a back camera with much more mega-pixels.
