Asus ROG Phone 3 is slightly better than Xperia 5, having a overall score of 86.3 against 81. Asus ROG Phone 3 is a newer cellphone than the Xperia 5, although it is a lot heavier and somewhat thicker. The Asus ROG Phone 3 has a bit better display than Xperia 5, because although it has a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a just a little lower screen density, it also counts with a little bigger display.
The Xperia 5 features a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus ROG Phone 3, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Xperia 5 also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Asus ROG Phone 3 features a bit more powerful CPU than Xperia 5, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Asus ROG Phone 3 also has a greater amount of RAM.
Asus ROG Phone 3 counts with a lot better camera than Xperia 5, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low light images and video, it also counts with a lot higher 7680x4320 video quality, a much larger sensor which offers a lot higher photo and video quality and a camera in the back with much more MP.
Asus ROG Phone 3 counts with a much better battery duration than Sony Xperia 5, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
