Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 5 is a bit better than Huawei P smart S, with an 81 score against 77.2. Even being the best in this review, Sony Xperia 5's design is a bit thicker and just a bit heavier than the Huawei P smart S. The Xperia 5 features a little sharper display than Huawei P smart S, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2520px and a little bit better number of pixels per screen inch.
The Xperia 5 has a bit better processor than Huawei P smart S, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 5 also has more RAM. Sony Xperia 5 features a slightly better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei P smart S, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Sony Xperia 5 also has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
Sony Xperia 5 features a little bit better camera than Huawei P smart S, because although it has a way worse 12 megapixels resolution back camera, it also counts with a bigger aperture to take better low-light images and video. Huawei P smart S counts with better battery lifetime than Xperia 5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
