Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a general score of 81.2, which is just a bit better than the Xperia 5's overall score of 81. Although the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is older and heavier than Xperia 5, it's construction is still just a bit thinner. The Xperia 5 features a bit better display than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because it has a just a bit higher pixels count per display inch, a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2520 and a little bigger screen.
The Xperia 5 features slightly more memory capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 512 GB. The Sony Xperia 5 features a bit better processor than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2. They have a Octa-Core CPU and 6 GB of RAM memory.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 features just a bit longer battery performance than Sony Xperia 5, because it has 3400mAh of battery capacity instead of 3140mAh. Xperia 5 counts with a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and a same resolution back facing camera, the Xperia 5 also has a larger camera sensor and a bigger aperture to capture better photography and videos in poorly lited environments.
In addition to being the best phone in our comparison, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is also a bargain compared to the other ones.
