Comparison review
The Xperia 5 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, with an 81 score against 80.5. The Xperia 5 body has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, but it is lighter. Xperia 5 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro. Both have a 6 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores.
The Sony Xperia 5 has a bit better looking screen than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a little better display density and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2520. Xiaomi Note 7 Pro captures much better photos and videos than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for capturing photos or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Note 7 Pro also counts with a lot bigger sensor providing a much better image quality and a back-facing camera with lot more MP.
Xperia 5 features a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Note 7 Pro, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia 5 also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Note 7 Pro has superior battery lifetime than Xperia 5, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
