The Samsung Galaxy M31s has an overall score of 88, which is much better than Sony Xperia XA1's 71.7 global score. The Samsung Galaxy M31s construction is incredibly newer than the Sony Xperia XA1's, but it is thicker and heavier. The Samsung Galaxy M31s counts with a little bit better display than Xperia XA1, because it has a way better 1080 x 2400 resolution, a better pixel count per inch in the display and a larger display.
