Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ1 is a bit better than Xperia XA1, with a 78.3 score against 71.7. Even though the Sony Xperia XZ1 and the Xperia XA1 were only released 5 months apart, Sony Xperia XZ1's construction is a bit heavier but also just a little bit thinner than the Xperia XA1. The Xperia XZ1 has a bit better CPU than Xperia XA1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia XZ1 also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Xperia XZ1 features a much better looking display than Sony Xperia XA1, because it has more pixels per inch in the display, a way higher 1080 x 1920 resolution and a little larger display. Xperia XZ1 captures a little bit better photos and videos than Xperia XA1, because although it has a less mega pixels camera, and they both have a same size diafragm aperture and the same camera sensor size, the Xperia XZ1 also counts with a way better (4K) video resolution.
The Xperia XZ1 has a much bigger memory to store more games and applications than Xperia XA1, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB and 64 GB internal storage capacity. Xperia XZ1 has a bit better battery performance than Xperia XA1, because it has 2700mAh of battery capacity against 2300mAh.
Although Sony Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Sony Xperia XA1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Sony Xperia XA1. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Sony Xperia XZ1, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Sony Xperia XA1, giving up a couple specs and features.
