Galaxy A8 (2018) has a global score of 79.2, which is just a bit better than Xperia XZ2's 79.1 general score. The Galaxy A8 (2018) construction is notably thinner and somewhat lighter than the Xperia XZ2, even when both were released only a few months apart. Xperia XZ2 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018). They have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM.
