Xperia XZ2 has a global score of 79.1, which is a little bit better than vivo X70 Pro's general score of 78.3. Although it's the best in this review, Xperia XZ2's body is older, a little heavier and notably thicker than the vivo X70 Pro. The vivo X70 Pro has a bit better hardware performance than Xperia XZ2, and although they both have the same number of cores, the vivo X70 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM.
Xperia XZ2 features a little sharper screen than vivo X70 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2160px, it also counts with a little bit higher screen density. The vivo X70 Pro takes much better pictures and videos than Xperia XZ2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 60 fps video frame rate, the vivo X70 Pro also has a way larger sensor providing a lot higher image quality, a bigger aperture and a camera in the back with way more mega pixels.
Vivo X70 Pro counts with a quite bigger storage for applications and games than Xperia XZ2, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. Vivo X70 Pro has a much better battery duration than Sony Xperia XZ2, because it has a 40 percent bigger battery size.
