Comparison review

The LG G8S ThinQ is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ3, getting a general score of 82.5 against 79.6. Both phones we are comparing use the same Android 9.0 Pie operating system, so both should give all the same operating system features. Even though the LG G8S ThinQ and the Xperia XZ3 were released only 9 months apart, the LG G8S ThinQ is just a little lighter and notably thinner.

The Xperia XZ3 counts with a much better looking display than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2880 and a higher display density. The LG G8S ThinQ features a bit more powerful processor than Xperia XZ3, and although they both have 8 cores, the LG G8S ThinQ also has a larger amount of RAM memory.

Xperia XZ3 has a little bit better camera than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has slower video frame rate and a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for low-light captures, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia XZ3 also counts with a lot more MP back-facing camera.

LG G8S ThinQ has a superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Sony Xperia XZ3, because it has more internal memory and a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG G8S ThinQ has a little longer battery life than Xperia XZ3, because it has 3550mAh of battery capacity.
