Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ3 is just a bit better than the Microsoft Surface Duo, getting a 79.6 score against 78.8. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but Sony Xperia XZ3 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Microsoft Surface Duo has Android 10 version. Even though the Sony Xperia XZ3 is older and much thicker than Microsoft Surface Duo, it's body is still a lot lighter.
Xperia XZ3 features a brighter screen than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1440 x 2880 and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a better display pixel density. Microsoft Surface Duo counts with a little better hardware performance than Sony Xperia XZ3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Duo also has more RAM memory.
The Xperia XZ3 counts with a better camera than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a F2 camera aperture, the Xperia XZ3 also counts with a way more MP back facing camera. The Xperia XZ3 features a bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
The Microsoft Surface Duo features a bit better battery life than Xperia XZ3, because it has 3577mAh of battery capacity instead of 3330mAh.
Although Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Microsoft Surface Duo, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Microsoft Surface Duo. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Microsoft Surface Duo, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
