The Sony Xperia XZ3 is a little bit better than Moto Z2 Force Edition, getting a 79.6 score against 77.4. Sony Xperia XZ3's body is newer, but heavier and thicker than Moto Z2 Force Edition. The Sony Xperia XZ3 has a bit more vivid display than Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition, because it has a bit larger display, a bit higher 1440 x 2880 resolution and a just a little better pixel amount per inch of display.

Xperia XZ3 features a little better hardware performance than Moto Z2 Force Edition. Both of them have 4 GB of RAM memory and 8 cores. The Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition has a lot bigger memory to store more games and applications than Xperia XZ3, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition also has an external SD slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.

Xperia XZ3 features better battery lifetime than Moto Z2 Force Edition, because it has a 3330mAh battery size against 2730mAh. The Sony Xperia XZ3 captures a bit better videos and photos than Moto Z2 Force Edition, and although they both have a F2 aperture, the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Sony Xperia XZ3 also has a lot more mega pixels back camera and a way larger sensor which provides a much better photo and video quality.

The Sony Xperia XZ3 is a little more expensive than Motorola Moto Z2 Force Edition, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
