Comparison review
The Xperia XZ3 is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy A70, with a overall score of 79.6 against 76.9. Despite being the best in this comparison, the Xperia XZ3 design is just a little heavier and way thicker than the Samsung Galaxy A70. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but Xperia XZ3 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy A70 has Android 10, so it gives you some additional features and performance tweaks.
Xperia XZ3 has just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy A70, although it has 2 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Xperia XZ3 features a better screen than Samsung Galaxy A70, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2880 pixels resolution and more pixels per inch of screen.
Samsung Galaxy A70 counts with a way bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Xperia XZ3, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB, the Samsung Galaxy A70 also has more internal memory. Samsung Galaxy A70 has improved battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ3, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 3330mAh.
The Xperia XZ3 shoots greater videos and photos than Galaxy A70, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia XZ3 also counts with a larger sensor shooting better quality videos and photos.
Although Sony Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Samsung Galaxy A70, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy A70. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia XZ3, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy A70, resigning some features and specs.
