Xperia XZ3 is just a bit better than the Galaxy A8 (2018), getting a 79.6 score against 79.2. Xperia XZ3's construction is newer, but somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker than Galaxy A8 (2018). The Sony Xperia XZ3 counts with a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), because it has a higher 1440 x 2880 resolution, a little bit bigger display and a little better number of pixels in each inch of display.
The Xperia XZ3 features a slightly better memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018), and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Xperia XZ3 also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
