Comparison review
The Xperia XZ3 is slightly better than Galaxy S7, with a overall score of 79.6 against 79.5. Although Xperia XZ3 is incredibly newer than Galaxy S7, it's noticeably thicker and notably heavier. The Xperia XZ3 features a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy S7, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Xperia XZ3 also has a greater number of cores.
Samsung Galaxy S7 has a slightly better looking display than Xperia XZ3, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1440 x 2560, it also counts with a little better number of pixels in each inch of screen and way more brightness. The Sony Xperia XZ3 has a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S7, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not nice for shooting images or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Sony Xperia XZ3 also counts with a larger sensor taking better quality photographs and videos and a way more mega pixels back facing camera.
Xperia XZ3 features a much greater storage for apps and games than Galaxy S7, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 512 GB and 64 GB internal storage. Xperia XZ3 counts with a bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S7, because it has a 3330mAh battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy S7. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S7, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most with your budget.
