Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is much better than Sony Xperia XZ3, having an 88.9 score against 79.6. These devices use Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has the older 10 version while Sony Xperia XZ3 has Android 9.0 Pie. Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha's design is newer, but a little thicker and somewhat heavier than Sony Xperia XZ3.
Sony Xperia XZ3 features a sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because although it has a way smaller screen and a quite lower 1440 x 2880 pixels resolution, it also counts with a greater pixel density. Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha counts with a bit better processing unit than Sony Xperia XZ3, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has more RAM.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Xperia XZ3, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has superior battery duration than Xperia XZ3, because it has 4050mAh of battery capacity instead of 3330mAh.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha captures just a bit better photos and videos than Sony Xperia XZ3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also has a larger aperture, a much bigger back camera sensor and a lot higher resolution back camera.
