Comparison review
The Xperia XZ3 is slightly better than the ZTE Axon 20, getting a overall score of 79.6 against 77.8. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but the Xperia XZ3 has newer 9.0 Pie version while ZTE Axon 20 has Android 10 version, so it offers some extra features. The Xperia XZ3 body is a bit lighter than the ZTE Axon 20, but it is noticeably thicker and was released 2 years before.
The Sony Xperia XZ3 features a bit better hardware performance than ZTE Axon 20, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Xperia XZ3 has a more vivid display than ZTE Axon 20, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater pixel amount in each inch in the screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 2880px.
The ZTE Axon 20 captures better photos and videos than Xperia XZ3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the ZTE Axon 20 also has higher video frame rate, a larger diafragm aperture, a much more megapixels back-facing camera and a much larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Xperia XZ3 features a better memory capacity to install applications and games than ZTE Axon 20, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The ZTE Axon 20 counts with better battery life than Xperia XZ3, because it has 4220mAh of battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the ZTE Axon 20, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the ZTE Axon 20. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the ZTE Axon 20, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
