The Samsung Galaxy A12 is just a bit better than vivo X70 Pro, having an 80.3 score against 78.3. Even being the best device in this review, we must note that it's also an older, thicker and somewhat heavier device. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy A12 has the older 10 version while vivo X70 Pro has Android 11 version.
The vivo X70 Pro counts with a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy A12, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the vivo X70 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Vivo X70 Pro has a better looking display than Galaxy A12, because it has a greater pixels count per inch in the screen, a little bigger screen and a much higher 1080 x 2376px resolution.
The vivo X70 Pro features a bit more memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy A12, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy A12 features just a little better battery performance than vivo X70 Pro, because it has a 12% more battery capacity.
The vivo X70 Pro shoots better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A12, because it has a more mega pixels back-facing camera, a way higher 3840x2160 video definition and a larger diafragm aperture for better low-light photography and video.
