Xiaomi Black Shark 3 is better than Huawei P20, getting a general score of 86.6 against 78.1. Both devices in this comparison review work with Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has the previous 10 version while Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie. Xiaomi Black Shark 3's construction is newer, but extremely thicker and way heavier than Huawei P20.
The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has a bit superior CPU than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 also has more RAM memory. The Huawei P20 has a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Black Shark 3, because although it has a bit worse 1080 x 2244 resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit better number of pixels in each inch in the display.
Xiaomi Black Shark 3 and Huawei P20 have extremely similar storage to store more games and applications, both have equal internal storage. Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has a much better battery duration than Huawei P20, because it has a 4720mAh battery size against 3400mAh. Xiaomi Black Shark 3 captures much clearer pictures and videos than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same aperture and the same video definition, the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 also has a much more megapixels back camera, higher 60 frames per second video frame rate and a much larger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
