Comparison review
The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has a global score of 86.6, which is much better than Xiaomi Mi 5s's 76.4 general score. The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 design is much newer, but noticeably heavier and thicker than the Xiaomi Mi 5s. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has older 10 version while Xiaomi Mi 5s has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s features a bit more vivid display than Xiaomi Black Shark 3, because although it has a way smaller display and a bit lower 1080 x 1920px resolution, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the display. Xiaomi Black Shark 3 and Xiaomi Mi 5s both have really similar memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos, both of them have the same 128 GB internal memory.
Xiaomi Black Shark 3 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has 4 GB more RAM memory and a larger number of faster cores. The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 has a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 also has faster video frame rate, a bigger diafragm aperture, a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a back facing camera with a way higher resolution.
Xiaomi Black Shark 3 features a much longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a 4720mAh battery size instead of 3200mAh.
