The Galaxy M31 has a general score of 86.5, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite's global score of 85. Galaxy M31's construction is older, way thicker and somewhat heavier than the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite. These phones have the same Android 11 operating system, so you shouldn't notice any differences in that aspect.
