The Huawei Mate 8 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi-3, having a 77.4 score against 71.6. The Huawei Mate 8 is a noticeably heavier but a little bit thinner cellphone than the Xiaomi Mi-3. Huawei Mate 8 counts with a CPU that is very similar to the processor in Xiaomi Mi-3, because although the Huawei Mate 8 has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with 4 more processing cores and 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Huawei Mate 8 features superior battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi-3, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3050mAh. Huawei Mate 8 has a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi-3, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Huawei Mate 8 also has faster video frame rates, a larger aperture for better photography and videos in low light situations and a higher resolution back facing camera.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Mi-3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Mi-3. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi-3, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your budget.
