The Motorola Moto Z3 Play has a score of 76.3, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi-3's overall score of 71.6. The Motorola Moto Z3 Play body is a bit heavier but thinner than Xiaomi Mi-3. The Xiaomi Mi-3 has a much better looking display than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the screen.
Xiaomi Mi-3 has a bit faster processing unit than Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and a lower number of cores (although faster), it also counts with an additional GPU. The Motorola Moto Z3 Play captures a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi-3, because although it has a back camera with lesser MP, it also counts with a lot larger camera aperture to capture better low-light photography and videos and a lot better 3840x2160 video resolution.
The Moto Z3 Play features a much bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi-3, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Moto Z3 Play also has a SD memory slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Mi-3 features a bit superior battery life than Moto Z3 Play, because it has a 3050mAh battery capacity.
Although Moto Z3 Play is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xiaomi Mi-3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Mi-3. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Moto Z3 Play, else you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi-3, letting go a couple specifications.
