The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi-3, getting a global score of 78.6 against 71.6. The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus construction is way heavier and thicker than Xiaomi Mi-3. Both devices in our current comparison have Android operating system, but Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Xiaomi Mi-3 has Android 4.4.2, giving a lot of extra features.
The Xiaomi Mi-3 and the Xperia XA2 Plus feature very similar CPUs, because although the Xperia XA2 Plus has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a higher number of cores and 4 GB more RAM. The Xiaomi Mi-3 has a little more vivid display than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller screen and a little bit lower 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit better pixels quantity in each inch in the screen.
The Xperia XA2 Plus features a much greater storage capacity for applications and games than Xiaomi Mi-3, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Xperia XA2 Plus also has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB. Sony Xperia XA2 Plus features a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi-3, because it has a larger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light photography, a much more MP back facing camera and a way better 3840x2160 video resolution.
Sony Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a little longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi-3, because it has 3580mAh of battery capacity against 3050mAh.
