Xiaomi Mi 5 counts with a bit sharper display than OnePlus 8 UW, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a better quantity of pixels per inch in the screen and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440.
OnePlus 8 UW features just a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 5, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with more cores and more RAM memory. OnePlus 8 UW has a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5, because it has 128 GB internal storage.
OnePlus 8 UW has better battery life than Xiaomi Mi 5, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity. OnePlus 8 UW counts with a much better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the OnePlus 8 UW also has a camera with much more MP.
Although OnePlus 8 UW is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xiaomi Mi 5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xiaomi Mi 5.
