Galaxy Note8 has a global score of 83, which is better than Xiaomi Mi 5's score of 73.7. The Xiaomi Mi 5 has a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a little smaller display and a little bit worse resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of display.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 counts with a little better performance than Galaxy Note8, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster) and less RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor.
